William J. Ford, M.D.
William J. Ford, M.D. is a body radiologist at Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI). Dr. Ford comes to CDI from Soteria Imaging and Tria Orthopeadic Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he previously served as director of imaging. His experience includes nearly twenty years of private practice with both Methodist Hospital and Abbott-Northwestern, the largest not-for profit hospital in the Twin Cities. Dr. Ford has also maintained a clinical instructor appointment with the Department of Radiology of the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, since 1987.
Dr. Ford completed his fellowship in neuroradiology and MRI at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, which included rotation at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Minnesota after receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree from Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. He began his undergraduate studies at University of Notre Dame where he received his Bachelor of Science degree, and then went on to receive his Basic Sciences degree at the University of North Dakota.
Dr. Ford is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology and was recently recertified with additional qualification in neuroradiology. He is also a member of the American College of Radiology, Minnesota Radiologic Society, Minnesota Medical Association, International Spine Intervention Society (ISIS) and the American Society of Spine Radiology. Dr. Ford has had articles published in the American Journal of Neuroradiology, and most recently Minnesota Physician.
