Carrie C. Morrison, M.D.
Carrie C. Morrison, M.D. is a dedicated breast radiologist with ProSight Radiology Group in Chesterfield, Missouri, and Director of Breast Imaging and Mammography at St. Luke’s Hospital. She performs screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, image-guided interventional breast procedures, and was recently selected as the first physician in Missouri to implement Sonociné—automated whole breast screening ultrasound.
Dr. Morrison completed a fellowship in abdominal imaging at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. She completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at New York Medical College – Westchester County Medical Center and The University of Missouri – Columbia Hospital/Clinics. Dr. Morrison received her medical degree from The University of Iowa College of Medicine with various academic honors.
Dr. Morrison has authored/co-authored various articles and publications. She has been featured in numerous television, radio and print interviews regarding breast imaging issues on a local and national level. Dr. Morrison has conducted multiple presentations to her peers and the community on subjects relating to her specialty in women’s imaging, and regularly lectures to physicians locally and nationally. She is recognized as an expert breast radiologist among surgeons, gynecologists and primary care physicians throughout the greater St. Louis area.
Dr. Morrison’s professional affiliations include the Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, American Society for Women Radiologists, New York Roentgen Society, New York State Roentgen Society, Greater St. Louis Society of Radiologists, Missouri State Medical Association and the St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society.
